During the late 1970s, no. D34 was repainted in the Chamberlain Orange livery after overhaul and it, along with fellow BHP Port Kembla English Electric locomotives no. D2 and no. D36 were posed at the Nebo loop at the head of the Kemira Valley. This image shows no. D34 during the 'pose'
