As part of the ERTMS Signalling system being implemented on the Cambrian Coast line in Wales, 4 redundant Class 37 locomotives were overhauled by Harry Needle at Barrow Hill in Derbyshire for Network Rail. They were reclassified as Class 97/3 and here the last member of the class, no. 97304, is seen outside the Barrow Hill workshops of HNRC on May 5th, 2009
