After being bought for preservation, Class 37/0 no. 37254 was moved to a private site at Hop Farm, Sellindge, where it underwent restoration work. With work well advanced, it is seen on site on March 12th 2004.

The preserved 12CSVT lists have been split into three areas, depending on which country/continent that the locomotives are currently located, these being 'British Based', 'African Based' or 'Australian Based'. Use the menus of the left to choose the list that you need.

 

Once you have selected the area listed, a page will appear that has 'tabs' of each class of locomotives that has been represented in preservation at some point, even if they are not currently. Below these tabs, a list of locomotives includes links to the preserved history page. This will be followed by one or two lists of 'Current' and 'No Longer Preserved' locomotives, the former will show the number carried, base and status, with the later showing number carried and notes on its status on leaving preservation. Both lists will be colour coded to show the status.
