After a derailment near Zaragoza towards the end of March 2002, two of the exported Class 37s, L21 and L24, suffered substantial damage. The extent of the damage to L21 (37899) can clearly be seen here in the Fuenlabrada Yard of Via Y Construccienes in Madrid on October 3rd 2002.
