D6703 / 37003
Stratford TMD in East London had a varied allocation of diesels in the early 1960's. In this view taken on September 16th 1961, a number of Brush Type 2's are accompanied by a couple of English Electric Type 3, D17/1 Class locomotives. D6718 can be seen in the shed, whilst D6703 is in the foreground on the right. D6703 had only just been returned from the Vulcan Foundry after rectification work and was still undergoing tests.
