To return the stock north after a tour the previous day, Spitfire Tours arranged for passengers to use the stock, which operated from London Euston to Preston on July 17th 2011. It was hauled from the Capital by 3 class 37s, namely Class 37/5 no. 37510, Class 37 no. 37087 and Class 37/7 no. 37706
