During the Summer of 1989, the Cardiff Canton PCFA sector Class 37/4's were 'stretched' and additional traction was hired in in the shape of Class 37/3 no. 37350. The said loco is seen at Cogload Junction near Taunton with 2V73 1312 Taunton to Bristol Temple Meads on May 25th 1989

The contributions area has been created for two reasons, both important in their own right! Firstly, recent visitors to the site need to know what type of contributions are required and how to make them. Secondly, once a contribution has been made, there needs to be an acknowledgement of that contribution. Obviously I will contact the contributor and thank them myself, but by publishing their name (or Puesdonym) on the site, I will also thank them publically. If it were not for the contributions from past visitors, it is unlikely that ´English Electric Growl´ would be the size that it is today, and there are still some details in the vaults that needs to be added. That said, this is a site in progress, so your continued support and contributions are most welcome. Every little helps!
