Perth, Western Australia

Showing the signs of years of outside storage, D class no. D48, is seen at Midland, Perth on January 3rd 2004 after it's return to Western Australia. Having begun life in the Pilbara, the loco moved to New South Wales in 1992 but was never reactivated by BHP Steel. It was purchased by South Spur in 2003 and has since been restored to service

To help visitors see what ´Updates´ have been made, a list has been created to notify them of the more significant changes, with links provided to these areas. Minor corrections, etc. will not be added to the list, but these are noted at the bottom of the menu list of the left of each page. If visitors would like to be notified of significant updates, they can register with the mailing list that has been created, details available in ´Mail List´.

The last two options on the menu are important for different reasons, firstly ´Support/Web Design´ is the place where, it is hoped, you may feel like making a financial donation towards the running of this site. Any money donated will only go towards the running costs, any additional funds received will be donated to a Class 37 preservation fund. Finally there is a ´Disclaimer´, this is important to protect the copyright of any material that appears on this site, we hope that all visitors will take note of the requirements listed.
