How often is this site going to be updated? Most of the website will be written and uploaded on an as when basis. Work and the family take priority over the site, but if you join the mailing list (See the site 'Our Website' section of the site), you will be sent an e-mail to inform you of page uploads to the net. Do you reply to every e-mail sent to you? Yes, whenever it is possible, but it may take a few days to catch up with all the mails sent. Obviously, If I am away on holidays or with work replies may take two to three weeks. I have sent e-mails, but they are bounced back to me? There are two addresses in use on the site, via the Contact or Webmaster links on every page, have you tried both of these? Where is the best place to go trainspotting? Unfortunately I cannot help with this question, I have had no interest in spotting since the early 1980's. There are a nu,ber of web groups out there where someone may be able to help. Sorry! Who do you host your site with and have you any others? This site is hosted by 1and1. What made you set up this site? Class 37's have 'been in the blood' since I first saw them slogging up and down the Western Gwent valleys throughout the 1970's. When information was gained in 1988 about 'cousins' existing in Africa and Australia, more information was sought, but it was very hard to find. Over a period of time some details were compiled and it was decided the best way to share this info with everyone was to publish it on the web. Many different ideas have been used on this site since 1999, hopefully the route that has now been chosen will be the one that works best for everyone. Can visitors make suggestions for the site? By all means YES, this site is a work in progress, small changes are made on a weekly basis just to the structure. If you can suggest a different way of doing things, or perhaps some different content, we can look into incorporating them into the site. |
