 | Eclipse of the Class 37s The third in a series of programmes dedicated to the class 37s won accolades from the railway press before going out on general release. To add to the magnificent sound effects which are a feature of this series of programmes 'Eclipse' includes the sight and sound of no less than 100 different locomotives in action in two different countries-that's right-this video is the first to include action from southern France where the class 37s are assisting with construction duties connected with the new high-speed TGV Link. Added to this the class is seen hard at work in the UK from Penzance to Inverness and from Lowestoft to Aberystwyth and most places in between. A comparison of modern and historical liveries are seen to good effect as we see many members of the class which have now succumbed to withdrawal. Material spans the years 1987 to 2000 and features many classic liveries including BR blue, large logo blue, red stripe railfreight as well as more up to date paint schemes. Following on where Eclipse of the Class 37s left off we see astonishing action from Southern France where the Class 37s are assisting with construction duties connected with the new high-speed TGV Link. This time we see them in action on the Southern steeply graded section where multiple type 3s tackle the infamous 1 in 30 gradient at Donzere. In the UK we see views from Cornwall to Caithness - literally, and view some of the most startling scenery in between. Railtours, rare passenger turns, heavy freights; they are all here in what is likely to be another best seller.  | Glory of the Class 37s 'Glory of the Class 37s' is an extended programme issued as a follow up to the hugely successful 'Reflections of the Class 37s'. Running for over 80 minutes the video includes rare archive video footage dating back as far as 1968 yet brings us right up to date with scenes from mid-2001. Also featured are the final throes of official passenger services in North Wales with unique footage of the last headboard adorned official departure from Holyhead. Featuring no less than 103 different class members in locations from the North East of Scotland to Kent and the West Highlands to Cornwall.
