Class 37/3

The sub-class was increased in size during the mid-1990's by Immingham Depot. The first members of the 37/3's appeared in 1988 as part of the life extension program for the class. 37372, which was one of the first, is seen at Didcot on March 15th, 2000.

*   All locomotives of the batches 37330-37335 and 37370-384 were converted from the latter design of the Class 37/0 that were originally fitted with roof mounted horns, the extra height in the column indicates this. (Note - 37330 and 37332 had the roof horns removed, which were relocated onto the nose area of the locomotive)
#   Many of the Class 37/3 locomotives had their old boiler water tank converted for fuel use, these had the increased Fuel Capacity shown here.
