Kent, United Kingdom
On July 18th 2006 the SERCO test train was on its annual visit to the Kent lines of the British network. DRS provided the traction this year, in the shape of 37611 and 37609 and they are seen in the St Mary Cray area.

| Hello All, As can be seen, we have entered our 9th year of being on the web and we have made a few changes, hopefully to everyones liking? As a result of us streamlining this site and setting up our related site, "The Growlette", we still require as many photos as ever to be used across the both sites. Can you help with this request? We are particularly looking for photographs from the 1960's and 1970's! Although all photographs are welcome, especially those of topical events, whether past or present!. If you think you can help, please drop us an e-mail, either attaching images and details or requesting our postal address to send a CD/DVD. The links are included below |

| What type of photos do we require? Preferably landscape in orientation, but portrait will be just as welcome. Generally, images can be scans of Black & White or Colour Prints, scans of transparencies (again B&W or colour) and to try and keep up with the times Digital All images must be of a size 1024 x 768 or greater, although smaller images could be accommodated, no copyright logos/text, etc. (These details can be added later by us) and must include as much information as possible to allow us to create a description for the web page. If you want, you can write this yourself! What subject matter is required? Production of the locomotives in the UK began in 1959/1960, so it would be good to be able to include some images of locomotives under construction at any of the works where this took place, ie. Vulcan, Darlington or Rocklea! That's over 17 years between the UK and Australia. Other that the specific requests of any locomotives under construction, EEG hope to cover all aspects of the locomotives, at Work, at rest, under repair, damaged, old and new liveries, in preservation and being dismantled!!! Our opinion on Copyright issues? The copyright of all images used on this site remain with the photographer/owner. We frown on theft of images from our site, that is why all images are watermarked with the site name before they are used on the site. We feel this is the best way to avoid theft of the images, we could disable the right click and image gallery functions through Javascript, but all files would be available on the visitors computer anyway. Any images that are submitted are likely to be used in the gallery section too! We look forward to hearing from you very soon! |
