D47 started life with the Goldsworthy Mining Company in Western Australia as No.5. When BHP bought the locomotives in 1992, all locomotives of the 'A' class locos were transferred to NSW and became the 'K' class. D47 was caught on film at Port Kembla on September 27th, 1999.
