´Locomotives´ has been divided into four areas, these represent the British Built locomotives, the Australian built locomotives, the Buildlists of all locations and a quick Loco Search facility. The quickest way to view any of the locomotives you want is by using the ´Loco Search´ facility, either by entering all or some of the number of the locomotive that you are looking for. Once submitted, a list of appropriate loco's appears, which are linked to that locos detailed page.

If you would like to view all class members, click on the appropriate country of build and a list of classes will appear beneath. Select the class you want to view and a list of all locomotives in this classification will appear.

´Build Lists´ was originally part of the Classes area, but as it is really aimed at the individual loco, it has been relocated here. Links are provided from the build lists to the locomotive list.

As this is a relatively ´young´ area of the site, any contributions from visitors would be most welcome. The type of information that will be published against each locomotive includes, works visits, modifications, rare workings, involvement in incidents, livery changes and other significant events.

Once you have visited these pages, if you think you can add to, or correct, any of the information on show, please use the links on the contact page to let us know.
