Toton Extraction

Following on from yesterday's departure of Class 37/4 no. 37405, the last Class 37 to be found on the depot at Toton has also been extracted and moved by road to Barrow Hill. Class 37/4 no. 37402 left Nottinghamshire site this morning and made the short trip to Barrow Hill in Derbyshire

Toton Movement

After being moved into position over the weekend at Toton, Class 37/4 no. 37405 was loaded onto a road trailer today and left the depot en route to Barrow Hill where it will be assessed for overhaul for new owners, Direct Rail Services

Direct Rail Storage

One of the Class 37/4's purchased by Direct Rail Services has been moved from Carlisle to Crewe. Class 37/4 no. 37426 was dragged overnight on the 10th, arriving at Gresty Bridge in the early hours of the 11th. At Toton Class 37/4's no.s 37402 and 37405 have once again prepared for extraction from site. It has been suggested that they are to move to Barrow Hill where they may be overhauled instead of the expected component recovery prior to disposal.
