Wheatbelt, Western Australia

The first member of the 'K' class to be built by Engish Electric at Rocklea, No. K201, was despatched on February 7th, 1966. It was transported by rail all the way across Australia, including gauge changes, and arrived at Avon Yard in Northam on the 13th, where it is seen in the train formation resting on 'narrow' gauge bogies.
