It is one aim of the creator of English Electric Growl to publish at least one photograph of each of the locomotives built that was fitted with the 12 cylinder Charge Cooled, Surpercharged, 'V' shaped Diesel engine for Traction purposes, the 12CSVT that is the subject of this site. To show visitors how the aim is progressing, this area will show the current status using the British Built and Australian Built lists under the 'Mainline' heading.

Another aim is to include details on all railtours powered by 12CSVT fitted locomotives. It is hoped to include at least one photo of each tour, and another list under the 'mainline' heading is Railtour Images which shows all the railtours which a photograph is required.

As well as Mainline operations, photographs are also required in the Preservation field, this section currently shows a list of Preserved 12CSVT fitted locomotives and also preserved locations where a a 12CSVT may or may not have been.
